Have your say...
Regional Arts Australia is asking people to help shape the creative future of regional communities as part of a national consultation. Consultation sessions have been held across regional Australia in June and July 2009. Thank you to all who took part in the June Launceston consultation session.
If you couldnt attend - don't worry - you can still have your say. Eveyone is invited to complete a short online survey
The results from this forum will be fed into the national outcomes, which will be used to determine the future directions for
Regional Arts Australia’s work of strengthening regional communities through arts and culture.

Fresh! is a novel and timely state-wide arts project engaging young Tasmanians, encouraging them to explore and share their unique perspectives on three themes of island sense of place, resilience and climate change.
Those perspectives will inform a state-wide professional community arts project, culminating in the creation of a new media installation to be launched at the 2010 Regional Arts Australia National Conference in Launceston. We hope it will also inspire young islanders to create their own works around this island place in ways that engage with fresh! artists and ideas.
Fresh! is assisted through Arts Tasmania by the Minister for Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts. Fresh! began life with support from a University of Tasmania Community Engagement Grant. It is endorsed by the Australian National Commission for UNESCO.
Tasmanian Regional Arts (TRA) provides its members, affiliates and the broader regional community with a range of resources and publications.
These resources have been collated to support TRA branch activity, celebrate the achievements of specific projects undertaken by TRA and its members and provide advice and inspiration.
Many of these resources are downloadable PDF files viewable with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most resources are accessible in both hard copy and on line. Click here to download the latest Branch Manual, E-newsletter, the Annual Report and other resources.
Not all of TRA's resources are virtual:TRA's major living resource is our network of three Regional Arts Development Officers located in Latrobe, Launceston and Hobart.
